Vanessa Laurin is a multi-instrumentalist songwriter and multi-disciplinary artist whose deep connection to the natural world is reflected in her many creative outlets. Her ethereal piano-driven music, either as one-half of First of June or as a fully solo artist, can be found on Bandcamp and ElasticStage. She is currently finalizing a new solo album to be released in early 2027.

Her extensive lyrics catalogue serves as the backbone to her self-portrait photography, which explores themes of chronic pain, grief, and healing. However, given that Vanessa DOES NOT CONSENT to having her work scraped, stolen, or otherwise plagiarized by gen-AI users, her photography is available exclusively on Patreon.

Her seasonal handmade goods are inspired primarily by her love of birds, particularly crows, and the other critters with whom she shares her everyday life.
